How Dahlia uses
Google data.

Google integrations are optional. Dahlia accesses Google data only after you choose to connect your account and only to provide the features below.

Google Calendar

Dahlia uses read-only access to your Google account and calendars you select to show upcoming events and meeting links and to start a recording from an event. Dahlia does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.

Google Drive

Dahlia uses Google Drive access to create and update the Meeting Notes folder and Google Docs you choose to export from Dahlia. Dahlia cannot access unrelated Drive files.

05 — LOCAL BY DESIGN

Your meeting memory
stays yours.

Dahlia stores meetings in a local SQLite database and processes speech on your Mac. AI receives context only when you ask a question, generate a summary, or enable automatic summaries. External clients get read-only access to the Vault you explicitly select.

Apple Speech turns conversation into text locally while you record.

Scoped, read-only access

MCP exposes only meeting search, stored summaries, confirmed original transcripts, and screenshots in the selected Vault. Screenshots are resized by default, with original-size access available on request.
